Our Vision is to Produce the Best of the Best
Our True Calling.
True North Cattle was founded as our dream to create a cattle operation focused on producing the best Angus and Simmental genetics available. Combining Keela’s expertise in ruminant nutrition with Chris’s extensive experience in Simmental cattle, we established True North Cattle with a clear commitment to producing top-tier genetics for both commercial cattlemen and junior showmen. In 2017, we moved to Illinois to pursue our vision, seeking the ideal environment to grow our operation and make a lasting impact on the beef industry.
At True North Cattle, we focus on creating cattle that excel in the commercial market, with a strong emphasis on maternal traits and performance. Our breeding program is designed to deliver genetics that provide lasting value to both commercial producers and those in the show industry. We offer both breeding stock and genetics for private sale treaty, and are dedicated to continuously improving our cattle.

Bulls Built for Growth and Profit
Bulls Raised on the Land, Built for Performance and Profitability
At True North Cattle, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality sires that
bring consistent performance and value to seed stock and commercial cattle operations. Our bulls are raised in the Midwest on fescue and lower-quality grasses like reeds canary grass, without the use of creep feed, ensuring they are robust and naturally developed.
